My name is Jacob K. Fathal. I am from the island of Yap. I was born on May 12, 1990. I am the middle child of my parents' five children.

My family and I moved to Guam when I was five years old in search of a better life. Education was, and still is, the primary reason for us moving to Guam. Education is the key to success. My parents instilled this value in me and my siblings since childhood. They constantly push us to strive for success. We have come a long way from the first day we set foot on Guam.

I am now a student at Guam Community College. In two years, I plan to be graduating with and Associate's of Science Degree in Computer Science. Afterwards, I plan on attending the University of Guam, and declaring my major as pre-enineering. There are many other plans for the future. But for now, my family and education are my main focus.
